Eğitmen Kadromuz

After graduating from the Department of English Linguistics at Hacettepe University, she completed her master’s degree in American Literature at the same university. Following her doctoral studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo, she taught at the Department of American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University until her retirement in 2017.

In addition to the courses she taught within the department, she also delivered grammar and composition courses for students enrolled in the Teaching Certificate Program conducted by Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Education during various periods. She further taught General English, TOEFL, IELTS, KPDS, and YDS preparation courses at both public and private institutions.

Alongside her academic career, Gümüşbaş also worked as a translator and translated eleven books from English into Turkish.
