Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why should I choose Kapurcuk? What makes Kapurcuk Academy different from other culinary arts academies?

Choosing Kapurcuk Academy is not simply choosing an educational institution; it is stepping into a philosophy of life. What distinguishes us from other culinary arts academies is our ability to combine deep respect for our roots with a contemporary, sustainable, creative, and community-oriented approach to gastronomy.

At our Academy, every stage — from our fields nourished by heirloom seeds to our kitchens where local ingredients are transformed — is designed in harmony with nature. Here, you do not only learn how to cook; you also learn the language of the soil and the seasons.

Our professional training programs in culinary arts, pastry, service, barista, and mixology are conducted by master chefs in classes limited to a maximum of 12 participants. These programs are designed to support both personal development and professional competence. By discovering local craftsmanship, disappearing professions, and regional production traditions, students gain a deeper understanding of culinary culture.

The Academy features advanced technological infrastructure, including industrial training kitchens, IP CCTV educational monitoring systems, Wi-Fi 6 infrastructure, Honeywell Esser fire safety systems, Microsoft 365-supported digital learning platforms, and live-stream integration.

Being part of an Academy that extends from a project recognized with prestigious awards such as the Gourmand Cookbook Awards in the field of Food Heritage provides inspiration to Kapurcuk students and offers a strong foundation for their professional careers.

What is learned here is not only how to cook, but how to add meaning to life.

The training programs are conducted at the kitchens of Kapurcuk Academy in Marmaris and in partnered industry venues such as yacht kitchens, hotel kitchens, and similar professional environments.
